Nosferatu is some of the best horror content I’ve seen in a long time - Robert Eggers creates a film steeped in dread, where shadows and colour contributes to its chilling atmosphere. when it comes to the performances, everyone here brings their best - Lily Rose-Depp plays a tormented Ellen to perfection while Bill Skarsgård is pretty much unrecognisable as Orlok, who is grotesque yet hypnotically seductive.

with stunning production design, impeccable performances and a seductive and sinister atmosphere, Nosferatu is more than great - it may be one of the best vampire movies of all time.

this was a decent blend of psychological horror with a really interesting and thought-provoking religious twist. I do think the first half was fantastic and shined as a solid, gripping thriller, but then I felt like it began to falter and the climax wasn’t entirely satisfying in my opinion. it lost momentum in the third act, but the excellent performances from Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East were enough to keep me entertained, even if things did slow down a bit.
