I just finished watching this movie and my honest opinion about it is that it was great. The movie poster fit the film perfectly because of the way the story was told. It's under the genres sci-fi, horror, and dystopian but we don't get the full scare factor from the creature lurking near them. We feel the fear from the chase of the unknown, the darkness, and the deep sea ocean wherein nothing is known of down there.…Translated from by

Pacific Rim: Uprising 2018
After everything that they've assumed, they were surprised to learn that there's actually something more to it. Meeting the characters from the 1st movie or getting even a mention of their names here had me in an "awww" moment. I really just love pacific rim and I'd recommend it to everyone :)

I know people were not comfy with the age gap they had and I'm not justifying that. I'd like to set out some points I have before reviewing this movie. First off, I understand how they have a large age gap but still had something together because of the storyline's time setting.
