The screenplay displays a surprisingly well-developed sense of of classical narrative symmetry, which creates a wonderful sense of cinematic catharsis at the film's conclusion. The effects are what they are based on its budget, and the title credits being in Papyrus is an unimaginable choice (even if the film does open in a pyramid), but this is way better than it needs to be. I am forever a fan.
