  Unplanned plays on this "black and white" line with no grey area. Personally, that's not what this film should have been about.   Bird Box 2018

  I'm not particularly a fan of time-jumps and flashbacks in a movie, almost like voice overs, they come across as lazy storytelling. For Bird Box however, it kinda worked. While having our main story unfold, we learn as the audience how we got dropped right into the HELL of it all and slowly see how the past and present eventually coincide.
  Chilling premise, solid performances and another beautiful score from Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor (Social Network, Patriot's Day, Gone Girl). Not bad, Netflix. Not bad at all.
