Cronenberg envisions a disturbing future where there's no pain or sickness, some people have evolved to eat plastic, and everyone's obsessed with body and surgery like it's the "new sex".
This movie it's a super interesting speculative exercise. It's filled with fascinating concepts and ideas about the future that hold great potential. However, the movie sadly falls short in most other aspects.
The plot lacks depth and feels both too simple and unclear. It's hard to understand what's going on…

"Killers of the Flower Moon" is a revisionist western film, based on a true story from the 1920s.The perspective is primarily that of the "civilized" white men, even though they are clearly portrayed as the greedy villains throughout the movie. It's a film that dives into the banality of evil to which the Osage tribe are the helpless victims.

Watched it at lunch by myself. It’s simple, short and fun. Clever work by Wes Anderson!
I admire his ability to use set design, lighting and costumes to craft worlds and characters with his trademark humorous style. He knows his tools and how to creatively use them.

I'm impressed by the way stop-motion is used in the film. Through this technique they've managed to give the whole film a sinister atmosphere that effectively portrays a dark chapter of Chile's history.
However, the film felt a bit too long, even though it's only 75 minutes. Even with some scenes cut or sped up, I believe the movie would have worked just as well.
