It's beautifully executed. Cinematography is perfect, the use of Mozarts works as the score is beautiful, the acting is great. It's like someone took the historical story of Mozart and, fittingly, made it an opera: dressed it up with lots of light and color, played beautiful and loud music, dropped drama into every relationship, and modeled it as a tragedy. It's amazing.

The Marvels 2023

Marginally better than Captain Marvel, but also falls prey to exactly what makes the MCU unpalatable at this stage: you constantly feel like you're missing out on something if you're not completely up-to-date. I've watched every MCU movie in chronological order and I still feel like I was missing something because I didn't watch a couple of poorly rated series to explain some of the characters origins. That just feels unacceptable to expect from an audience.
