Conclave 2024
Honestly, was not optimistic I would like Conclave heading into it. Have not been a big fan of Berger’s previous work and had already heard mixed things, but Conclave ended up being the kind of political thriller that we don’t get enough of these days. With a pulsating score and riveting performances, Conclave is a thrilling time from start to finish.
Also, some incredible still shots in this, showing the scope of the Vatican.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1975
Listen, the bit with Arthur and peaseants at the beginning is an all timer and is 4 stars alone on that, but it also helps that from start to finish that the Holy Grail is one of the better comedies ever released.
My humor has changed since the last time I saw this, and now at 30 I gravitate more towards the Tim Robinson’s of comedy. British sitcoms and comedies overall will always have a place in my heart. Is this my favourite Monty Python? I don’t think so, but I still have a great time with this one.
