honestly the best of the trilogy. the other 2 are whatever but this one stands on its own. love her monologue at the very end.

Howl's Moving Castle 2004
art / aesthetics were gorg but I found the plot hard to follow tbh. one of those movies that just went on a little too long for me, esp for a movie rated PG I shouldn’t have to try so hard to pay attention lol but idk maybe just not my taste? am I missing something?

No Country for Old Men 2007
v aesthetically pleasing, love whatever filter this movie is shot in. makes it so pretty and cinematic despite all the death. not as gruesome as I expected which was nice, it was tasteful. I guess I can appreciate the “shit” ending bc the commentary throughout the movie is where the good stuff is. “can’t stop what’s coming”
also unironically loved the ending scene (sherif talks abt his dreams)
