Having seen other docs on Woodman, and being really annoyed by the portrayal of her artistic personality/ young precociousness, I loved the style and tone of this. A longtime fan of the depth and intimacy felt in Woodman’s images, beauty /decay, femininity /identify etc, I loved Subrin’s approach to describe someone “who seemed intent in obscuring her own image” or to be seen while “not being seen”.
