    Kagemusha delivers the best of kurosawa capabilities as a visual storyteller. An epic drama with spectacle. Character development is what seperate this film with ran. while Ran presents a much more larger battle scenes with shakespearean storytelling, this film has much more interesting character that made it a much more personal and captivating human drama. Both Ran and Kagemusha are masterpiece, but i personally like this film more than ran simply because of its character driven narrative.
