  brb im going to go romanticise living in the suburbs.

  would i like ladybird if i was her friend in real life? probably not. but i love this film too much. one of my favourite ‘nothing happens’ films and still has enough plot and love (romantic, platonic and familial) for me to be invested and in awe. i love lady bird.

  things i love about this film:
  - the outfits
  - kit connor (pop off)
  - the “your song” scene
  - taron egerton singing (although hauntingly similar to ‘sing’)
