  i like how breaking the fourth wall in funny games is basically a message to the audience about violence and voyeuristic desire. the only way to stop the horror of the film is to stop watching—but you want to see how the story unfolds because you enjoy the suspense of the violence

  feels like it drags a little at times, but the cinematography and the overall narrative make it 100% worth the watch! horror has a tendency to make me slightly angry based on the way that the characters are written and their actions, but nosferatu evades that commonality and even forgoes common jump scares and low-hanging horror shots in favor of actually unsettling shots and an overwhelming sense of dread that feels real instead of manufactured
