In my opinion, The Outsiders book has a very impactful message that transcends time and is highly influential no matter the age of the reader. The movie, although sequentially accurate to the book, it is one of those movies that is so clearly a book adaptation it almost takes away from the narrative. There are awkward/empty transitions between scenes, forced dialogue, and there was little to no acting. I honestly think the directors of this movie spent more time looking…
