Coming from someone that likes Hereditary and loves Midsommar, this is probably the most unenjoyable film I've ever seen.   I vaguely remember watching about half of this on TV around 2am like 15 years ago thinking wtf is going on, and once I saw today it was almost 3 hours long I had the preconceived notion it could to be a bit of a slog to get through, fortunately I was entirely wrong.

  This is both visually and aurally fantastic, especially the soundtrack, and had me engaged the entire way through.
