It doesn't get easier; it just gets less hard.
This film is a remarkable exploration of recovery from both recent and childhood trauma. It thoughtfully addresses themes such as finding purpose, fighting alcoholism, dealing with mental illness, and the healing power of nature. The storytelling is lovely, the script beautifully written, and the performance of Saoirse Ronan is simply outstanding—she delivers an extraordinary performance!
