im not a huge horror movie fan and get scared really easily but this movie got my attention fast. to my surprise, it wasn’t the stereotypical horror like with lots of jump scares and ghosts; it was more unsettling and creepy, like a psychological thriller. the foreshadowing was brilliantly set up for the plot twist.
the scene that really chilled my bones was the mom crying and mourning over charlie’s death; it felt so raw, real, and painful. toni collette’s acting is absolutely flooring, delivering an oscar-worthy performance.
also, steven was the BEST character, rip to my boy he deserved so much better 🔥🧍🥲
