the first of PTA’s films i’ve watched (other than Licorice Pizza) as i am about go through his filmography, and what a great debut. i’m sure as i watch more of his movies i may not remember this one as a favourite but it really was good.

i loved this. pamela anderson was amazing and i can’t wait to see her in more things soon. it’s insane to me that she didn’t get an oscar nom meanwhile other people….
also i thought kiernan shipka and brenda song were excellent and played off each other and pamela anderson so well. this was really a year of kiernan shipka showing up in movies i didn’t know she was in and being great. dave bautista was great and i’ve loved watching his career take shape and him explore different types of roles. this is probably my favourite performance of his.
no thoughts on jamie lee curtis.
