The true impact of friendship. When we learn that friendship is beyond our backgrounds, strengths, and weaknesses but truly the union of people who see one another. When we learn to open each other up to friendship and to love it can the parts of ourselves that we are ashamed of. When Zack introduces Tyler and Eleanor as his family it shows how much we matter to one another. Family is everything and friendship should be a part of that. Because blood does not always connect us, but instead the love we have for the people around us.

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
Such a beautiful movie. Not only showing the importance of family but the importance of yourself. That your own company can be enough, that you are enough. And even though you may be a small piece of something bigger your piece is what makes the grand picture whole. The part where Marcel talks about how he enjoys the sound of being connected to everything I think sums up what this movie was getting at. Things may be beautiful on their own but when we come together and connect to one another we can create something truly extraordinary.
