Why is this A24 second film about a Hispanic man getting cucked? First Antonio Banderes, now Pedro Pascal? both involve Latino protagonists dealing with complicated, potentially emasculating relationships.
if a third film follows the same dynamic, it might start looking more like a pattern.

the way Tampopo is peeking, looking at him make the recipe, i was predicting that, but seeing it at play, it was the most nerving and craziest shit ever.

the way the mom dies right after seeing her kids enjoying her meal was funny, but how the kids scream was sad ;(

couldn't take my eyes off the screen. loved the film.
the sadness mixes so well with the comedy so comfortably.
the film shining light on loneliness, abuse, family relations, religion and homosexuality with such a perfect mirror to how these subjects are treated in reality.

i truly do regret not seeing this film in theaters, not giving Adam Elliot the support i know he deserves. if this gets a Blu-Ray release i would love to buy it and have it in my pile of shit i love.
