What an exquisite, and ultimately devastating film. The performances are perfect, and detailed but really restrained which absolutely lends itself to the uptight British parenting and the subject of isolation and loneliness. The film doesn't give you any light, just the pure examination of connection and how we love one another. Let us all be loved the way Adam and Harry love eachother.
Warning to those who fall into the 'lqbtqia+ with parent issues' category like myself, this brings it all back, and it might make you wish for the healing moments Adam gets to experience.
