  Papers, Please: The Short Film 2018

  Does little justice to the game. Although there is a great attention to detail, even the dialogues are from the game, it simply shows too little of the moral dilemmas the guard has to go through. The movie is too short for the story to develop. Because of that, the ending seems to have little to no sense… A longer adaptation would solve most issues, as the actors themselves aren’t bad.

  Not a movie that anyone expected after Parasite, but not an unwelcome one. A space comedy that touches on current world themes, with Pattinson works well together. Best element must be Mark Ruffalo’s role: the resemblances to Trump are uncanny.

  The movie does well in teaching you a solid lesson on American folk music and what impact Bob Dylan had in the scene. His concert might feel confusing but it only adds to Dylan’s never evolving personality. He does not care much for anything nor anyone. He only takes from others and doesn’t give back. And as you cannot ever be sure whether he’s telling the truth or lying, you never fully know him. In the end he’s jus A Complete Unknown.

  Jsou filmy, které nemají dost peněz na to, aby byly skvělé, a pak jsou ty, které mají peníze a dělají všechno pro to, aby byly hrozné.

  Bylo by těžké spočítat kolik je ve filmu scén které nedávají smysl a nikam nevedou. Polovina rozhovorů je zcela prázdná a druhá polovina je zábavná leda tak pro paní režisérku.
  Člověk se sám sebe ptá zdali někdo si řekl ze příběh je logický (princezna co se dostane, sama, během jedné noci, z Francie do Čech je vzkutku zajímavé...).

  Film je leda tak dobrý na vysmátí.
