Four Good Days 2020
Honestly one of the best movies I have ever seen. Iv watched it 3 times now. And every time it just hits. A real and raw story on dr*g addiction, how it ruins lives and how systems let you down.

Frida 2002
Exactly what I’d expect from a modern movie about the one and only Frida Kahlo. Dramatic, romantic, political, quirky and messy. I liked the little moments of illustration and interpretive story telling. But probs not for everyone. Frida is one of my favourite artists because she stood for what she believed in, and the legendary Salma Hayek portrayed this amazingly. I mean, I watch any move with Salma Hayek in but that’s beside the point.

Blood Diamond 2006
Had me pretty gripped, shed light on the horrors of diamond exploitation in SA and ended on a heartwarming transformation of doing the right thing even when surrounded by greed and selfishness. Encouraged me to dive deeper into this history too.
