Opus 2025
like midsommar written by a tiktok addicted elton john fan. ayo edebiri steps into the role of final girl with such confidence that you would think she’s been in horror movies her entire career. my god, what star power. john malkovich and company are terrific as well, and elevate this rather boilerplate story and script into something twisted and funny. shoutout to amber midthunder as ayo’s evil antagonist concierge, her wordless and stealthy performance echoes her debut in prey and i really hope she gets more roles.
