I don’t know if I can watch this again, the intrusive images and flashes of things hit too close to reality for me to enjoy it overall. I’m incredibly surprised and glad that they don’t tie the antagonists and protagonists exclusively toward Christian faiths, and I thought it was really well made. Definitely worth the first watch, though you have to see the original for some context!

Joker is a movie about Arthur Fleck, do not expect to see the Joker. Incredibly well acted, shot, and designed from the music to the cinematography, absolutely stunning. I don’t like that some of the locations felt more to me like New York (where it was filmed) than it does Gotham (where it takes place). Overall an amazing film and not for those of the faint of heart.
