    Cyborg

    ★★

A gloriously campy, ultra-low-budget Terminator knockoff, Cyborg delivers exactly what you’d expect from a Jean-Claude Van Damme flick: plenty of high-flying kicks and relentless action. The sci-fi narrative barely holds together, the acting is downright terrible, and the world-building is nonsensical—but there’s an undeniable charm to its over-the-top execution. If you enjoy schlocky ’80s action films with a heavy dose of unintentional humour, there’s some fun to be had here.

  • Memory

    Memory

    ★★

A stylish thriller featuring Liam Neeson and Guy Pearce, Memory sets up the elements of a compelling crime drama with timely themes. However, despite its potential, the film never quite delivers the depth or impact it aims for. While there are moments of tension and solid performances, it ultimately fades into mediocrity, making for a forgettable experience.

Paul Hogan desperately clinging to relevance...

Weird film which could have been fun if he had a better comedy team behind him.

Tight set from one of my favourite comedians. He is waging war on the 2010s woke era and doesn’t give a fuck! He roasts Michael Jackson accusers, R. Kelly, and especially the LBGTQ Community. Still sharp as ever. Haven’t laughed so much in 2019.
