Creative, unique, and funny. Mickey 17 isn’t the first time this story is told, but I love the way this lesson is told. Bong Joon-ho often writes dejected outsiders, losers, and fringe people as his heroes; often used and abused by society at every turn. Mickey is possibly the most overt and obvious iteration of this character.
What BJH personifies in this movie very similar, if not directly inspired…
