The happiness in the first half is like a different world, and Fernanda’s performance is too rich. The director handled the relationship between the characters too well. There are so many family characters, but everyone has their own pain in the end. Wanting to play dumb to take advantage of someone game, but wasn’t using the most amazing way to shock the viewers; like what on earth will people not suspect a person when everyone around him is dead lol; He’s just not a smart enough character for audiences.
But I do love the visuals a lot, casting and editing and sound are so good <3
There’s an interesting difference in sensitivity to the languages/dialogues. The first time I felt the mother tongue they speak is too staged while it makes a lot of more sense when translating into English. The story doesn’t make any sense, much more meanings can be explored under this topic.
