Bong Joon-ho delivered an allegorical work that is terrifying in so many ways. This movie has a lot to say without being stuck up its own ass. Ruffalo and Collette: fucking horrifying and perfect for this. My personal uncomfortably with the alien mutilation is preventing me from giving this 5 stars because I am a baby, but that was part of the point.
