The line had my tears running down. The heartbreaking emotion from their performance is truly profound. They are all tied together by this one single desire to escape the reality.
Second time watching this film today and new realization amazed me. I was overthrown by sorrow by the end as I felt so emotionally connected with the boy. As we were all once a kid, we were vulnerable and sensitive, but often misunderstood by adults and their expectations for our maturity. The boy’s story continues. Our stories continue.
Such a cathartic experience that empowers you through nature and human emotions.

At first, I thought it’s a movie about personal struggle about alcoholism, which turned out to be only a part of the discussion. We are the seals that belong to the ocean where we find freedom and happiness. We are the outrun.
