  This type of film is what I’m craving for in real life. I’ve always been so mesmerized about movies where two characters hold long conversations for two or more hours straight about the things they’re passionate about and how comfortable is to show vulnerability. Connection at its purest form. 

  Columbus hit me, and it reminds me of what it feels like to share with someone that much of one else as you also learn from the other. It means a lot, lucky are those who get to experience it.

  It’s a shame that this film could’ve been a masterpiece with a story as original as this one. It’s well known that dogs play an important role on people’s lives and it would’ve been so heartwarming for the viewers to see how majestic and noble dogs are for humanity, in this case for Douglas, however, it’s lacking that real sentimentalism, you can’t even get to see how he actually managed to train them, which is far from easy.
