Brokeback Mountain 2005
Still beautiful and tragic and powerful after almost 15 years. Based on a really good short story.

Day 1 of Chyllenhaal. Young brothers Josh and Sam run away from divorce, terrible parenting, and bullying. Josh convinces Sam he's a "Strategically Altered Mutant" (S.A.M.) who their parents plan to sell to the Pentagon to fight a secret war, so the brothers embark on a road trip to Canada to escape this made-up story and bond as brothers/friends. 13-year-old Jake Gyllenhaal (who plays their step brother) has two lines, both offensive. Not the worst film I've ever seen, but not good.
