Beautifully shot film. It's a slow paced movie portraying a "slice of life" and a man who in the middle of rush finds time to slow down and appreciate the little things in life. But I find it portrays quite an americanized version of a Japanese man and the soundtrack is corny. The protagonist is ultimately a tragic man because he isolated himself from things he did not want to deal with under the guise of appreciating life in solitude.…
