to grow up is to realize that the ending of this movie isn’t devastating or a “horror movie” like many would say, but a truly happy ending in its own right
one of the few movies that both gives off the same magic, and a completely different feeling with every rewatch and that’s special in any artistic medium.
and the music COME ON.
This one really hits close to home man. such a cool concept and such a great way to execute it and get the message across. we take way too much for granted and forget how important the little moments are, this movie is the perfect reminder of that. Awesome.
Listen this movie is sick, and I’m all for historical inaccuracies if it improves the plot and movie as a whole… BUT MAKING ACHILLES FUCKING STRAIGHT. That is NOT gonna fly with me. Man literally says, “Patroclus, my cousin.” What a missed opportunity in wronging such an iconic tale, and for that this adaptation gets an “eh” from me.
Style, grit, and violence. All of my favorite qualities of any movie packed into one.
