  Making him a monkey allows for much needed cartoonish colour to revitalise the 7/10 music biopic.   Satire by way of Sorry To Bother You with the worldbuilding of The Cat In The Hat (complimentary).

  Works because it went there. Wonderfully stupid dialogue. Excellent design. Unsubtle. Fun.

  The bit where she looks in the mirror before her date made me cry. So so good.
