My least favorite of the Creed movies. The biggest let down was the way the boxing scenes were shot. Short and choppy takes made it hard to get invested in the fights. Although the narrative was compelling, the plot was not executed smoothly. Rocky making no appearance due to disputes about the series was tragic, and killing off Creed’s mother for seemingly no reason was a poor attempt to create investment. I like where this movie took Adonis career wise, and Majors was excellent as Dame. Lots of potential…

The narrative of Adonis taking on Ivan Drago’s son may be a bit overkill on the Rocky nostalgia, but is overall executed well. In addition, the conflict between adonis and Rocky seems forced and unnecessary in my eyes. However, the portrayal of Viktor Drago is excellent, as the character is menacing but still shows lots of depth. And finally  the boxing scenes in this movie were once again outstanding. An enjoyable watch.

This movie is the floor of the most recent 007 series in my eyes. The plot, villain, and female lead are all mediocre at best, but Craig is so great as Bond it is still an entertaining and enjoyable watch. If you replace Craig as Bond with another action star as another character, its probably 2-2.5 stars.

Not sure who’s idea it was to introduce the next big MCU villain by having him get beat up by the Ant Man. Some entertaining moments, but I’m already tired of the Multiverse and Quantum Realm after heavy involvement in recent MCU movies. Kang is a well acted and somewhat interesting villain, but i’m skeptical the storyline surrounding him will be compelling.
