peak surrealist shieeet. comparing fascists to scorpions and oblique references to other directors from the 20s. sucking statues' toes and getting into fights with dogs. there's a cow on someone's bed and throat singing catholic bishops sat on coastline rocks, doing battle with 20s avant garde artists acting as wounded freedom fighters.
