Adolescence 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
All the main performances were phenomenal - Stephen Graham and Jamie in particular, especially given it was his first professional job.
The cinematography is obviously sensational, Boiling Point was similarly brilliant. Just sticking with these characters when you usually expect a camera or scene change really makes us as an audience feel like we're right there, experiencing this ordeal alongside the Millers.
Also, the decision not to make Jamie's guilt the central question was a great choice, focusing more on why and the influence of online subcultures behind the murder.

The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar 2023
Wes Anderson's filmography is a major blind spot for me. I liked Grand Budapest decently enough, but have never felt like his style was for me.
The cinematography, set design, and colour grading are all outstanding, this really feels like it's own little world. All the actors are good are portraying their quirky characters.
An enjoyable little watch overall, I'll be checking out the other Dahl shorts.

Anora 2024
Firstly, a very very funny watch! Whilst not one to watch with your parents, certainly one to catch in cinemas!
Mikey Madison delivers such a brilliant performance, both hilarious and moving.
Just some brilliant characters in this, and a few who prove to be far more complex and layered than first imagined.

The Speed Cubers 2020
I didn't expect this to be so heartwarming, I loved the friendship between Feliks and Max despite their rivalry.
