Denzel Washington is always solid. But...I don't really like films where it's not clear which side in a gun fight are the good guys or the bad guys. That sorta happens a lot in this movie. The moral ambiguity of intelligence agencies is demonstrated a bit too literally here, and it crosses the line into predictable absurdity. Extreme Prejudice does a better job exploring these themes.

Finnish film, but it's mostly in English. It's like the lone Japanese dude still fighting WWII, except they're Nazis and they're on the moon instead of the jungle. A caricature of Sarah Palin is the US president. Damn, even the Finns are afraid to mock Obama.

This is where George Lucas started to lose it. Recycling the Death Star wasn't too imaginative. The violence was toned down. The Ewoks. The dialog was clumsy. Acting and direction seemed lazy. I have a hard time watching this film all the way through.

For expectations, responsibility, and unlimited resources, the results of failure are sometimes less than zero. This is such a case.
