A fun watch. Awesome music, as usual. I loved Korg in Ragnarok, but I found him a bit annoying in this one (his narration parts were fun though). I enjoyed the cheesiness of the film, and Gorr was an awesome bad guy. My favourite scene was definitely the fight in the shadow realm.

It was really cool at times and then just really bland at times, which sucks because I love all the character. The acting is good, the special effects were very good for the most part (a couple took me out of the film but not most of them) and the story was strange (no pun intended) because it seems like they’ve introduced the multiverse in three separate ways in three separate series (Loki, Spiderman: NWH and now DS 2), but the plot was entertaining.

Very good acting, beautiful light and camerawork (the smoke worked particularly well in every scene it was in) and an entertaining story. The constant switch between flashbacks was a bit confusing at first and ever so slightly annoying at the end, but it’s clear it was necessary for the story. It was also slightly hard to keep up with the characters, but that might just be because of my lack of 1930s Hollywood history knowledge. All in all it is an excellently written and filmed movie about an interesting subject.

Funny, as one expects any film with Palin and Cleese to be. The love plot was entertaining and the dialogue was good. John Cleese’s character is brilliant, and so is Micheal Palin’s, Jamie Lee Curtis’s and Kevin Kline’s. It has a satisfying ending and (again) is quite funny, but if one wants to watch a funny Palin and Cleese film, I’d suggest any Python one before this. I insist it has a lot of charm put into it and that shows in the final product.
