  This movie was such a disappointment to me. I love Bong Joon Ho’s movies. Parasite is a masterpiece, and I think Memories of Murder is even better. But this film, wow.   This one of the worst movies I’ve seen in years. A completely lifeless slop of shit that has no idea what it wants to be. It’s got romance, horror, action, sci-fi, but doesn’t fully commit to a single thing. Kubricks direction was phenomenal and I can see how his perfectionism really rubs off on the cinematography and these really long shots.
