Competently made film that didn't do too much for me.
I'm growing very tired of films that cash in on an existing but if IP or embedded audience.
Ford Ferrari was difderent because nobody really knew its protagonists and the story was in service of itself. Here Dylan comes to us as preprdained dogma, implicitly known and therefore to me, quite unintersting.

The Substance 2024
Hated this film.
Everything about it was smug, boring and annoying.
I hate the body horror stuff but that's just personal taste and it was done wuite well.
But the script and concept was stupid. It made no sense as a plot dircen film, and as political satire was trite, anacronistic and predictable (do we need to see more straight white man bashing, with outdated stereotypes - who believes these men still exist in such an open and brazen way?…Translated from by
