    Favorite movie of all time.
It is an elegant heartbreaking semi-modern rendition of the Cinderella Archetype.
It entails the problem with  the class disparity and  comedically juxtaposes love and capitalism and all the American ideals attached to the subjects.
But at its core it is a coming of age film, a young woman growing up, and finding out the dirty truths behind love and lust.
It is one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn Roles, iconicized by Audrey’s Givenchy White and Black Gown, and the beginning of her amorous friendship with Hubert De Givenchy himself.

A new modern concept of the age old joke. A psychological dive into the mind of one of the most notorious villains. But it’s so forced, so lackluster. A film for men, by men. It doesn’t fit the era we are in. It was a let down

A twist on the comic book genre. A bit of satire of the male dominated industry of “useless gore and violence”. And a clap back at any man who thinks he can get away with touching a woman. A perfect empowering film for the #metoo era that makes you want to fight back, and that reassures you that we can fight back. It is a cleverly thought out superhero film with many layers that analyzes the psyche of masochists and women alike.
