This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A little disappointed. A very strong film with great cast, acting, cinematography, pre-established plot and character.
But I think the jump-scares were a bit much, overall the film was a bit much. I acknowledge however that’s a me thing, and not necessarily a problem with the film.
The character design of orlock was decent in the way they did not replicate what had come before but I think the moustache is weird af. The cat/dog metaphor was also weird, the director must be a cat person smh.
Never again do I wish to set my eyes upon Count Orlock’s Orcock

Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
My disappointment is immeasurable. I cannot understand the hype. I was promised at least a morsel of action and likeable characters.
Although I did enjoy the ending quite a bit, after Leo was off screen, I hope this gets a heavy humbling when awards season comes around but alas I doubt it.
This is Marty’s only miss, I hope he can redeem himself before his career ends.

Whiplash 2014
As a player myself, not drums I went into Whiplash with very high expectations and it did not disappoint. The passion that goes mutates into obsession before yet again breaking through into passion is truly inspiring.
Amazing acting from all involved and the music is the best I’ve heard from anything I can think of. The last 10 minutes have cemented themselves as some of my favourite in cinema.
