  That shot when Divine G is roleplaying his parole hearing and it becomes more claustrophobic as the camera exits the room untill we see the stage and light suddenly dominates while the camera goes through the doors. 🤌

  This film is pretty well made. The score, pacing and cinematography makes you feel the pressure of the situation and there are some interesting questions on the role of journalism.

  However the timing of release is very poor, the movie seems to want to detach the events from the politics but when we are in the midst of an ethnic cleansing campaign this is incredibly lacking.

  Similar to Zone of Interest in the way it decides to tackle an authoritarian regime. It's the lack of direct violence which makes this movie as powerful as it is. Instead of showing the horrors directly instead we are shown a family trying to pick up the pieces, to make sense of it all and get some half-baked idea of justice which makes them celebrate a death certificate.

  Heartbreaking and incredibly human.
