Buddy was a ghost before he died, emotionally absent and depressed. The message I derived from the film: Life is finite, so be present in every moment and don't take loved ones for granted. We are all going to die. To die unexpectedly unfulfilled and absent may leave ones soul unwilling to pass on, instead they exist in shame of the unresolved. Enjoyable film. I specifically liked how each Micky had a different personality but all shared the same memories. Just goes to show that our experiences mold us, but it is how we respond to our experiences that define us.
