To forestall any assumptions about my attention span, I'd like it to be known that Tarkovsky's Stalker is one of my favourite films. And the pacing of Stalker makes 2001 look like Avengers: Infinity War. It's not that it's too slow, it's that very little of what's happening is at all interesting.
