okay i’m actually writing reviews ish now i guess but anyways, what hurts me most about past lives is how it explores the "what ifs" of life, those lingering questions that many individuals (including me lol) aren’t ready to confront because of the grief they tend to bring. the film dives into the pain of knowing that once you’re faced with these moments, one need to realize it can shape the future and you as a person and when the outcome isn’t what you expected you are left with the thought of “what if”
