  Watching Denis Villeneuve's "Dune" felt like coming home, but to a home that's been renovated from the ground up—familiar yet utterly transformed. I've always had a soft spot for David Lynch's rendition; its bold visuals and Toto's soundtrack are like comfort food for my sci-fi soul. They crafted the "Dune" of my dreams, a version so vivid and peculiar that it set an almost unreachable standard in my heart.
