Why this movie, like the others, uses lots of jump scares though out the movie but it ultimately manages tonbalance them well with the other narrative aspects of the film. Overall the movie is a well paced, thrill, that will keep you engaged throughout even if you are not familiar with the franchise.

Ryan Gosling continues his extraordinary run of movies. The movie is a fun homage to stunt men and every person who is part of movie production.
The movie itself does not take itself too seriously, very self referential and 4-wall breaking, but that only makes the movie better.
