It's kind of a funny comedy (the comedy being doing the same joke 15 times but it's a funny joke), and it addresses the very hidden topic of alcoholism among women. With that being said, it doesn't really get into specific details of female alcoholism and character construction could be better, the theme of motherhood and the true reasons for addiction are only superficially explored. There are many dramatic events for all characters but a lot of them are underdeveloped. All in all reasonable but could be better if it had a better screenplay.

The Apprentice 2024
Of course it has a compelling story and really good acting. I like the camera effects which absolutely feel like a real-life show. Trump is pictured as a copycat relying on pure luck, will and a great dose of not playing by the rules to build an empire. I don't think it tells us something we don't know but it allows us to enjoy what we know and dislike. All in all, fun movie.

It's difficult not to compare it to Coppola's and Herzog's versions. I think the interesting part here is the fact that it explores more the female perspective and desire instead of focusing exclusively on male characters and using her basically as a victim and the representation of purity.
